INTRODUCTION to TECHNICAL

The Technical Department provides pupils with an experience in the design and manufacture of simple products. Pupils learn about the design process from concept to synthesis.

Evaluation of the whole process is encouraged.

Pupils must work in a safe and disciplined manner.

Pictured on the right is Woodwork room1, which is used for practical and design work.

We have 4 rooms at our disposal;  woodwork rooms, 1 metalwork and a Graphics/Drawing room.  From time to time pupils will learn computer graphics in an ICT room or the Library.
