How to get to Hillhead High.

How do I get to Hillhead High ?

WALKING

From the centre of Glasgow, the easiest 'pedestrian' way is to take the Underground to Kelvinbridge (not Kelvinhall).

Single Journey ticket to anywhere is £1. Return journey from anywhere is £2 - want value for money? Buy a 20 journey ticket for about £15. You can make 20 journeys with it. (adult fare)

Once at Kelvinbridge, go up escalators to ground level, and then up another set onto the bridge itself. You are now on Great Western Road.

Go left and keep on straight. Take the 4th left onto Oakfield Avenue. The Avenue is blocked off to traffic. There is also a telephone box there.

You are now on Oakfield Avenue. Keep walking along, and you will be at Hillhead High (on right). The redbrick building is the Main Building and is your first port of call. The Janitors box is inside and to the right of the new glass-fronted entrance.

p.s. If you are good at maps, try http://www.multimap.com and type in the postcode G12 8LW and hit [Enter] it will show you the schools location, and you can zoom in and out around Glasgow.
