25 Jan 2008 - M.T.A. - Birdwatching & biodiversity - Save the albatross

Biodiversity is the variety of living things on earth, from the smallest insect to the largest mammal or tree. Pupils watch for birds, plant and animal life in the school environment and in Kelvingrove Park.

This photograph shows a blackbird's nest in the school garden.

As part of the activities in Miss Campbell's MTA - Birdwatching & Biodiverstiy, pupils are collecting used stamps to help fund the campaign to save the albatross. Use stamps can be handed in to the office or M203 in the Home Economics Department.
