15 Feb 2007 - S3 Enterprise Day
An S3 Enterprise Day was organised by Mrs Milligan (the school's Employability and Enterprise Officer - EEO) and the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) group from the University of Glasgow for up to 60 of our S3 yeargroup.
The aim of the day was to have the pupils thinking simply yet creatively about how new products or services come about.
Scotland needs more Small and Medium size enterprises and companies opening up. Our pupils were given the opportunity in teams to put their wits against each other culminating with a "dragon's den" type scenario.

Many thanks to the students and staff from the University of Glasgow for making this possible.
And thanks to all the S3 pupils who took part. Well done! ...and best wishes to those who said that they would want to start their own business.
It may not be easy, but you can do it if you are determined to succeed.
